| Bio: | Muki is an odd 24 year old guy that studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Sydney and who believes that life is one giant experience, with the aim of it to collect as many memories in what short time he has here. As an engineer, he doesn't really fit the stereotype as he doesn't drink that much beer. As an ex-bartender, he doesn't really appear to be a totally-cool-and-hip-wit-it bartender. As a building services engineering consultant? Well, he sorta liked the kinky suit and tie thing for a while. He's only just graduated from his four year degree but doesn't really know if he wants to return to an engineering job as he's been tainted by 60 hour weeks and FAR too little money for the amount of work he does. Muki is often called Muu, Mu, Mum, Mooks, and the like. He acts as the role of a mother by cooking and cleaning quite a bit. Muki finds food to be quite awesome, moreso with people, as company of course, not as food. He likes to eat at a variety of restaurants and is always looking for somewhere new to eat. If you ask him out to dinder, he would most likely willingly oblige. People are very much a part of Muki's life and he likes to chill, hang, or otherwise be with friends whenever and wherever he can. He also plays guitar and sings when no one is listening. He used to be in an awesome band called Halcyon, but they seem to have faded from the limelight. He's played in locations in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, but doesn't see it as anything more than a hobby. Muki used to dream of being a signed artist, but has since decided it's probably not for him. Muki rides a very old 1989 Honda VT250 Spada motorcycle called Eleanor, who much like the Eleanor from "Gone in 60 Seconds" has quite a personality. Muki would love to work in a garage, but thinks that there may be better things to do with his time like start his own business. He's sometimes afraid that he'll never get to truly mess about with bikes and cars in his youth and is starting to let it go, but every so often he'll get excited about them again. Muki lives together with the love of his life in a house he will some day own as his own. His family consists of himself and his girlfriend, along with a cat named Mr Puddles and a dog called Jess. Muki is quite fond of his kitchen, but would also like a nice office and a large backyard to let the little muu's run around in. He doesn't know if he'll ever get there, but he dreams it so. Muu wants to be earning a six figure salary by the time he is twenty-six. That does seem rather impossible at the moment, but it's still a dream. More recently, Muu has taken an interest in personal entrepreneurship and getting his stuff together. It seems to be doing a bit of good for him. Muki was on the executive committee for the Sydney University Anime Society during 2005 and 2006 and with the assistance of dedicated members from other university anime societies, co-founded AnimeSydney. Now not a member of SUAnime, nor a Sydney University student, he has donated his webspace to them as his ongoing contribution to their success. Having played the guitar for a short performance at Animania 2003 and volunteered during 2004, he took up a managerial position in Animania in 2005 and 2006 and in 2007 moved to Human Resources within Animania, before moving once again to their production team for 2008. Muki feels that his contributions and achievements are rarely ever seen or heard of, but that fits in fine with his belief that if no one ever says anything, then you probably haven't yet screwed up. Much of this journal is friends only even though some of those posts needn't be. Muki does take the effort to write public posts often, but there are many that he makes available to friends because they are, well, friends. Please friend him if he knows you or prod at him to add you to his friends list. He doesn't actively seek to hide away from his friends, but he doesn't like being stalked by strangers too much. Oh, and Muki sometimes talks like a pirate. YARRRRR~~!! | |
